Being born in the family of historians and antiquarians fuelled her interest in the field of heritage, culture and tourism from the early stage of life. Understanding it as the focal point, she pursued her passion as profession. Currently, she is working as Asst. professor in Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management, Gwalior. Apart from having number of national and international research paper publications she has been part of number of tourism and hospitality course curriculum development too. She authored two books titled ‘Resurrecting Chambal: A Microscopic Study of Heritage Tourism’ in 2022 and ‘Cultural and Heritage Resources of India’ in 2020.
